This review is from: Barbie Fashion Fairytale Marie Alecia Doll (Toy) The doll itself is comparable in quality to the other dolls in the DVD line - the dress is two layered, she has fashioned high top sneakers, eyeglasses that will undoubtedly go missing after one day, and a plastic dog companion. Unlike the pink Barbie character, the doll has no special features - she doesn't sing, twirl, light up, dance, or even move interestingly. As such, she's a very vanilla doll and lacking the interest that the other companion dolls received in previous movies. Also note that her legs are hollow hard plastic and don't bend. Neither do her arms. So she isn't posable. On the plus side, since she is vanilla, she is cheaper than her Barbie companion, which has a light up dress. So for girls who like to reenact the movie, she's a great accessory for the barbie character. But you'll definitely want to get the Barbie character before this one. This review is from: Disney Little Einstein June Beanz 9" Plush Doll (Toy) This doll is great if your child loves Little Einsteins. Also, we were in Disney world earlier this year and we met June at breakfast in Hollywood Studios. Interestingly enough we did not find any Little Einstein toys in any of the stores on Diseny property. When we got back we found this online. It was the only toy my daughter wanted and we could not get it in Disney! The doll is of good quality and in good shape. She loves her. The Material seems pretty durable, at least as long as it's not dropped or thrown. The base is also great, not only does it keep her upright and from falling, but the gargoyle is pretty detailed as well. It seems like this one is fairly new in the set, but it's selling out all over the place, so it must be very popular (might be worth 3-4 times as much in a few years!) I say if your a Batgirl fan, and you like collectibles, this is made for you! What are you waiting for? I think that pretty much sums up about my initial thoughts when I first lay eyes on this figure. The pose is just perfect and captured quite nicely, like she is standing on top of a building on a windy day. There are a lot of subtle details on this statue that lends a lot of credibility to what this piece is trying to portray. The twisting of her waist, the flex lines on the skin tight suit, realistic creases on the boots, the positioning of her body that makes her look like she's balancing half her weight on the gargoyle, makes this statue one heck of a display piece. The gargoyle itself is magnificently detailed but doesn't take away from the main focus of Batgirl. You would think this stone beast is made out of rock until you touch it with your hands. In terms of durability this statue is rock steady and there are no moving/bendable parts to fiddle with. There are two colorways for the Kotobukiya Batgirl, but I think this...
