This is really a once-time use experience. Once you put the stickers on the bricks, they cannot be anything other than a chest of drawers or whatever it is you have made. Also my daughter was disappointed that Hello Kitty doesn't fit on the bunk bed. It was a month after when I saw her still playing with it.There is a lot of little cute pieces like purse, lamp, and food items. She also loves the little stickers that comes with it to put on the set. From watching the video, I got the impression this toy would be compatible with my daughter's Duplo blocks. It's actually much smaller, more the size of Lego bricks. My little girl (3) loves Duplo, but has never played with her older brother's Lego bricks. It is cute, however, and she loves Hello Kitty, so we'll see how she does with it at Christmas.UPDATE 12-29-2011: I'm updating my review to 5 stars. The size of the pieces didn't make any difference to my daughter. She plays with it everyday. My eldest daughter helped with the stickers, and my son donated some of his white Lego bricks for extra furniture. When not in use, the blocks fit nicely in a one-quart plastic zipper bag for storage. On the whole, I think it was a good choice for her. |
